Service policy
The practical standards behind every Kawakari booking: what the driver will do, what is included, and what costs extra.
This is a working draft prepared for launch preparation. It must be reviewed by a qualified Nigerian lawyer before Kawakari accepts live payments.
1. Waiting time
Airport arrivals: your driver waits up to 60 minutes after the scheduled pickup time at no extra charge, tracking the flight number where one is provided.
Departures and city pickups: the allowance is 15 minutes.
Beyond the allowance, waiting is charged at the booking's hourly rate, billed in 30-minute increments.
2. Extending your booking
You may extend on the day if the driver is available. Extra time is charged at the same hourly rate. Ask the driver or call support, and we will confirm the additional amount before it is charged.
3. Luggage and passengers
Each car category lists a maximum passenger count, and luggage capacity is limited by the vehicle. Tell us about oversized or additional luggage when booking so we can assign a suitable vehicle or a second car.
Drivers may decline to carry more passengers than the vehicle is licensed and insured for.
4. Child seats
Child seats can be requested in the booking notes and are subject to availability. Please state the child's age so the correct seat is fitted.
5. Driver standards
Kawakari drivers are licensed, background checked, briefed on your booking in advance, and meet arriving passengers with a Kawakari name board at the confirmed meeting point.
Drivers will not solicit additional cash payments. If you are asked for one, report it to support.
6. Conduct and safety
Smoking, alcohol consumption and illegal substances are not permitted in our vehicles. Seat belts must be worn.
A journey may be ended early where a passenger's behaviour puts the driver or others at risk. No refund is due in that case.
A cleaning charge may apply where a vehicle is soiled and must be taken off the road.
7. Lost property
Contact support with your booking reference as soon as you notice something missing. Recovered items are held for 30 days, and return delivery may be charged at cost.
